One of the questions I receive most about exercise, is “What exercises should I be doing?”  I usually tell people to choose something that interests them.  If you enjoy the type of movement and work out, you’re more likely to stick with it.  But how do you know you’re moving in the best possible manner for your body so that you reduce your risk of injury?  In this issue, we’ll look at a couple exercises that teach proper hip mechanics while utilizing optimal breathing technique and core stabilization.  That way, whether you enjoy Pilates, Zumba, or working on your own, you have some cues that will benefit you, and you get the most out of each and every workout.
